Help determine our next shared moonshot goal
- What:
- Join a virtual conversation to share your thoughts and reactions on suggestions for our next moonshot goal that will bring us closer to ending the STEM teacher shortage.
- When:
- February 12 3:00pm to 4:00pm ET
- About:
100Kin10 launched with a decade-long moonshot goal of preparing 100,000 excellent STEM teachers by 2021. With just over two years remaining, we are on track to reach — and exceed — our shared goal on time. But we know that ending the STEM teacher shortage will take us beyond our original 100,000 goal. For this reason, we are now planning for what comes next after we reach the 100,000 goal in 2021, starting with the question: What should be our next, bold moonshot goal that we aim for together and that brings us closer to ending the STEM teacher shortage? Building on the ideas we’ve heard from the network and data about the current state of the STEM teacher shortage, we have compiled suggestions for the next moonshot goal. Please join us for a virtual conversation to hear brief updates, explore the moonshot suggestions more deeply, and help shape the future of 100Kin10.
