Over two years, 100Kin10 developed an unprecedented roadmap, mining the knowledge of thousands of teachers and other experts. We together identified over 100 critical challenges and mapped the complex relationships between them to pinpoint those with the greatest influence across the system.

Education First shares promising STEM proposals in ESSA including leading states’ draft plans. What are states proposing? How does this affect teacher professional development? Does it impact out-of-school time? The presentation will be followed by discussion and Q&A.

This summer, we are releasing the grand challenges to preparing and supporting STEM teachers, alongside the deep research conducted in partnership with partners over the past 2+ years. At the launch, we will unveil an interactive website and the results of an innovative, crowd-sourced, and data-based analysis that shows the relationships between these root causes, including those that have the greatest potential to improve STEM teaching.
